The overall goal of this role will be to help develop mass spectrometry workflows from samples derived from animal tissue in order to gain better mechanistic understanding after animal dosing. Specifically, we are looking to set up mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) workflows using a new Bruker timsTOF Flex with MALDI-2 high resolution mass spectrometer. Related to this effort you will also set up new proteomics-based workflows and be part of an interdisciplinary team to develop internal capability for using laser capture microdissection for mass spectrometry analysis.
