We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd edition of the IMSS conference on mass spectrometry imaging. This 4-day hybrid conference aims to promote the exchange of ideas and start of new collaborations in the field of imaging mass spectrometry. This meeting will be hosted in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado (October 3 – 6, 2021) at The Antlers hotel and will also be live-streamed online.

We are looking forward to seeing you online or in Colorado Springs, the home of Pikes Peak and The U.S. Olympic Training Center!

Why attend?

After attending many virtual meetings and webinars in 2020 many of us are looking forward to the careful return of in-person meetings. With public health guidances in mind, we've adopted a hybrid approach this year. For those comfortable attending in person, we look forward to having face-to-face interactions. For those that are unable to attend in person, we will also live stream the conference so we can interact with our community at large. Using both approaches, we can bring back the meaningful scientific interactions we need as a community working on cut-edge scientific advances.

The days of the 'work-from-home uniform' (pajama pants with a very nice shirt) are numbered, if not over. For this meeting please aim for dressy casual to easy business casual.

COVID-19 remains a public health challenge. We recommend only those fully vaccinated against COVID-19 attend the in-person meeting. IMSS3 will follow all prevailing restrictions and safety precautions of the hosting locality. These guidelines may change. We will encourage responsible behaviors such as social distancing and mask wearing in certain settings consistent with local guidelines.
